Loving God and Loving Others

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’^[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’^[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’” (Matthew 37:40 NIV)

I learned I have a choice when it comes to self-esteem.

I have a responsibility to pass the truth onto my grandchildren.

I can change my thinking by asking God to renew my mind daily.

With God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). Jesus said it and I believe it.

Dear God as I complete this week on teaching self-respect, I am in awe of You. I have a healthy respect for You and Your teachings. Several places, I fall short, but I choose You and the teachings of Your Word. Strengthen me in my inner-being so that I may glorify You in front of my grandchildren. Putting the past behind me, I know it is possible to renew my mind in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord, In Jesus Name, Amen.
